Work Stress Counseling Cedar Park, TX
Exhausted by Work Stress? Counseling in Cedar Park That Helps
If your job is leaving you drained, anxious, or second-guessing yourself, you’re not alone and you don’t have to keep pushing through on your own. Whether you're juggling nonstop deadlines, dealing with a toxic team dynamic, or just feeling stuck in something that no longer fits, work stress can spill into every part of your life. It’s not just about what happens at the office, it’s the sleepless nights, the short fuse at home, and the quiet feeling of “I can’t keep doing this.”
When Your Job Starts to Affect Your Mental Health
Stressful work environments can lead to more than just bad days. They can chip away at your confidence, trigger anxiety or panic, and make you question your worth. Some people feel numb or detached; others feel like they’re on edge all the time. If you’re dreading Monday by Friday night or fantasizing about quitting without a plan. If you’re starting to feel depressed, burned out, or just not like yourself, therapy can help you sort through what’s going on and what you want.
Is this familiar?
• You feel anxious as soon as you check your email
• You’re constantly replaying work conversations in your head
• You dread Monday morning before the weekend even starts
We’ll Work on More Than Just Coping
In our sessions, we won’t just talk about how to survive your job—we’ll explore how you want to live your life. We can look at setting boundaries, managing anxiety, improving communication, or figuring out whether it’s time to make a change. We’ll also look at the bigger picture: your values, your goals, and what it would mean to feel fulfilled, not just functional. Think of this as your space to reset and realign and without pressure.
The Most Stressed-Out Jobs Around Here
Cedar Park and Austin are full of people in high-pressure careers, tech workers juggling impossible deadlines, teachers navigating burnout, nurses and healthcare staff running on empty, and managers trying to hold it all together. If you’re in one of these roles (or just feeling overwhelmed in any job), it makes sense that your stress feels bigger than just a “rough week.” You don’t need to hit rock bottom to ask for support.
Therapy That Fits Into Your Life—Not the Other Way Around

You don’t need insurance to get started—just a quiet space and a little time carved out for you. Sessions are one-on-one, confidential, and tailored to what you need most right now.

Frequently Asked Questions
Work Stress Counseling in Cedar Park & Austin, Texas
Do I need to live in Cedar Park or Austin to work with you?
Nope! I work with clients all across Texas through secure, virtual video sessions. That said, many of my clients are based in Cedar Park, Austin, Round Rock, and surrounding areas, and appreciate having a local therapist who understands the unique work culture in this part of Texas. Whether you're logging in from your home office in Leander or taking a call on your lunch break in downtown Austin, you’re welcome here.
What if I’m not sure my job is the real issue?
That’s totally okay. Sometimes it’s the job; sometimes it’s everything else that work is triggering. Together, we can explore what’s coming up for you—whether that’s burnout, people-pleasing, anxiety, lack of direction, or something deeper. Therapy isn’t just about fixing your work situation—it’s about helping you feel more grounded, confident, and clear, no matter where you go next.
Do you accept insurance?
I don’t accept insurance directly, but many clients use their HSA/FSA cards to pay for sessions. If you have out-of-network benefits, I’m happy to provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Since I’m private pay, you don’t need a diagnosis to begin, and your sessions remain fully confidential.
What are your rates, and how do I get started?
My standard rate is $150 per 50-minute session, and you don’t need insurance or a referral. To get started, we’ll schedule a free 10-15 minute phone consultation to make sure we’re a good fit. I’ll walk you through how it works and answer any questions. If you’re ready to begin, I’ll send you intake forms, a secure Zoom link, and a payment link, easy and streamlined.
What makes work stress worse in places like Cedar Park and Austin?
Cedar Park and the greater Austin area are growing fast. Many professionals here are in high-pressure roles—tech, healthcare, education, startups—and trying to balance long hours with family life, commutes, and the expectation to always be “on.” If you're constantly multitasking, putting out fires, or feeling like you're falling behind, it's no wonder stress adds up. Counseling gives you a space to pause and reconnect with what matters to you, not just your boss, coworkers, or company culture.
